Renewal Proposal

Shall the County of Saginaw, Michigan ("County") renew the existing millage previously voted in the limitation on the total amount of general ad valorem taxes which may be imposed for all purposes upon real and personal property in the County, as provided in Article 9 Section 6 of the Michigan Constitution of 1963, as amended, which last resulted in a levy of 0.2942 mill ($0.2942 per $1,000) of the taxable valuation of such property as finally equalized, for levy in the years 2021 to 2026, both inclusive, which levy is estimated to raise up to $1,461,830 in the first year, for the purpose of continuing the operation and maintenance of the Saginaw County Parks and Recreation System and continuation of recreational programming and activities within Saginaw County?
